Women's Conference at Toongabbie Anglican Church
 

As part of our year of discernment, our church expressed a desire to have more opportunities to connect and build relationships beyond our congregations. There was a particular desire to gather as women to hear from God's word and from one another. So this year we are launching our own TAC Women's Conference.

From 3pm we'll gather for coffee, tea, and little treats, then head in for our first session where we'll hear a testimony and a talk, and also worship and pray together. After refreshing our teacups, we'll have a special panel Question and Answer session, thinking about how we persevere in faith as we weather the different 'hard places' through life. Then we'll share a delicious catered meal together, and have one final session with talk, testimony, worship, and prayer. The cost is $25 to cover dinner. Most of us can think of times when our faith has come under strain because of suffering, sin, or circumstance. We're going to hear from the Bible how God has met people in all sorts of hard places to reveal himself and give them hope, faith, and comfort. We'll also hear stories from a number of women who have persevered in faith through hardship.* This is going to be a day of being real with each other, of bringing the hard and dark things into the open and letting the light of the gospel shine on them.
